Counseling
The role of the counselor is to guide students in academics. Counselors coordinate and administer testing as well as interpret test cores and help students develop academic plans. Parent contact and communication is a big part of their job; as student advocates, they are resources for parents and teachers and can help facilitate open communication between all parties. You may reach our counselor by phone or email. Normally, students may stop in the front office before school, before lunch, or in between classes and request to meet with the counselor. If the student has a need to see the counselor that qualifies as an emergency, they should inform the front office staff soo they can be seen immediately. In the current circumstances, students or parents should email the counselor with emergencies or problems. Also, see the Emergency Resources listed below that may be helpful as well.
